First Blog Entry!

Well, things are starting to come together, which is a nice feeling after a few months of everything being so up in the air.

I seem to be spending most of my time researching anything and everything to do with my walk and the trail, and hoping that I'll receive an email reply from a potential sponsor or The Foundation.

I haven't told many people about the actual start date for the walk, but it is now looking to be about the 9th of December 2013, and hopefully not much later.

I don't have much else to say in this first post. Everyday that gets closer to December and I learn something new about New Zealand or anything to do with the trail, I get more excited about what I will soon embark on.
